  • Fight at Salem?:  Gabi DiCarlo, Patrick Sheltra, and another member associated with Sheltra Motorsports were allegedly involved in two separate incidents during the Salem race weekend.  Reports indicate that Gabi DiCarlo assaulted Patrick Sheltra at a bar on September 18th.  A member associated with Sheltra Motorsports allegedly assaulted DiCarlo on September 19th after the Salem event.   • Harold Holly arrested?: Harold Holly, crew chief of the No. 16 Coulter Motorsports team, was allegedly arrested on September 18th after attempting to assault an officer in a bar. (09-24-09)
  • Alli Owens joining Venturini Motorsports in 2010: Alli Owens and Electrifying Careers.com announce they will team with Venturini Motorsports in 2010. The team will compete in select ARCA Series events and potential NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races. The team is in continued talks with potential partners to expand her 2010 schedule.   • Johanna Long driving for D'Hondt at Rockingham: Johanna Long will make her D'Hondt Motorsports debut in the Grandma Ruby's # 19 Toyota Camry at Rockingham Speedway [on] October 11th. (D'Hondt Motorsports PR) (09-22-09)
  • Stephan McCurley returning at Salem: Stephan McCurley and PGM Racing will return to ARCA competition at Salem. McCurley and PGM last competed at Mansfield scoring a 7th place finish. (09-17-09)
  • Michel Disdier not competing at Salem: Michel Disdier has had to cancel his plans to race at Salem due to family matters. Michel and Bowsher racing will be back together for the American 200 at Rockingham, North Carolina on October 11th for the last race of the season.   • T.W. Fisher to make debut: 19 year-old T.W. Fisher will make his ARCA RE/MAX debut at Salem driving for Wayne Day. The team will use owner points from Peterson Motorsports. (09-15-09)
  • Nate Monteith joins Venturini for Kansas: NASCAR Camping World truck series driver Nate Monteith will drive the No. 28 Graceway Pharmaceutical Chevrolet at Kansas for Venturini Motorsports. (09-14-09)
  • Patrick Long to drive for Cunningham: Patrick Long will drive the No. 4 Cunningham Motorsports Dodge at New Jersey Motorsports Park. (09-08-09)
