  • Hixson Motorsports searching for 2010 driver: Hixson Motorsports is looking for a funded driver to take over the #23 for the 2010 ARCA Season. Packages for the full season start at $500,000. Interested drivers should contact Team Manager Roy Shipley. (ARCA Classifieds) (10-16-09)
  • James Hylton released from hospital: James Hylton was released [on October 11] from the Moore Health Regional Medical Center in Pinehearst, NC after becoming involved in an fiery accident during the American 200 at Rockingham earlier today. Hylton left the race after completing lap 147, placing 37th, and fortunately left the hospital with only an ankle injury. (JamesHylton.com) (10-12-09)
  • Casey Roderick to make debut: Casey Roderick will make his ARCA RE/MAX Series debut in the October 10th American 200 at Rockingham Speedway.  [Roderick] will pilot the No. 51 Dodge in a joint venture between [Bill Elliott Racing] and James Finch's Phoenix Racing. (ARCARacing.com (10-08-09)
  • Justin Lloyd attempting Rockingham: Sporting a new racecar and a new number, Justin Lloyd will take on Rockingham Speedway and the ARCA RE/MAX Series. After a hard lick with the outside retaining wall at Toledo in September left Lloyd's primary car totaled, the team rallied and built a brand new car from the ground up for this weekend's event. Venturini Motorsports will assist in fielding Lloyd's machine for the race, which will be his third career start. (ARCARacing.com) (10-08-09)
  • Cunningham Motorsports searching for driver, Kligerman not returning?:  Cunningham Motorsports has placed an advertisement on ARCARacing.com stating that the team is looking for a funded driver for its No. 77 entry in 2010.  The team wants a driver that will "continue to build upon the tradition of success from [its] racing organazation."   • Andy Belmont Racing seeking 2010 drivers: Andy Belmont Racing is seeking funded drivers for car No. 1 and car No. 14 in 2010.  Full schedules reportedly range from $650,000 to $950,000. (10-02-09)
  • Norm Benning still trying to sell team: Norm Benning is still trying to sell Norm Benning Racing.  Benning moved to the NASCAR Camping World Truck series for 2009 and ran Todd Antrican in his ARCA car for the majority of the year. (10-02-09)
