  • Buster Bennet driving for Keyed-Up: Keyed-Up Motorsports is excited to announce that short track ace Buster Bennet will be driving entries in the NASCAR K & N Pro East Series and the ARCA Racing series with a schedule to be announced soon. (Keyed-Up Motorsports PR) (04-29-10)
  • Andy Belmont Racing's transporter catches fire: Andy Belmont Racing's transporter caught fire on the way home from Talladega on I-85 in Georgia around mile marker 166. No one was injured. Apparently a tire blew on the tractor, grease from the drive hub caught fire, flames from the hub hit the generator cabinet on the front of the hauler and ignited the diesel fuel from the generator. The truck is a total loss. Trailer is destroyed. Fire company contained the trailer fire to the front of the trailer and the lounge, but all the team uniforms, helmets, hans devices, radios are lost. The fire company saved the cars and everything behind the lounge, certainly there will be smoke and water damage. (Andy Belmont Racing via Jayski.com) (04-26-10)
  • Chad McCumbee in third ABR car; ModSpace sponsoring:  Team ModSpace is proud to announce the addition of a second car to its racing program and the introduction of driver Chad McCumbee to the Andy Belmont Racing line up. McCumbee will drive the No. 1 ModSpace-American Red Cross Ford Fusion for the remainder of the 2010 ARCA Racing Series season while Nick Igdalsky will continue his 2010 ARCA campaign in the No. 59 ModSpace-American Red Cross Ford Fusion, a combined effort between Mark Gibson Racing and ABR.   • Steve Arpin signs two race sponsor:  Venturini Motorsports and [Steve] Arpin are proud to announce that Arpin has secured funding to run for the 2010 ARCA Racing Series championship with the addition of Mike's Hard Lemonade. "We have Mike's Hard Lemonade on board for the next two ARCA races at Texas Motor Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway," said Arpin.   • Will Kimmel driving for RAB Racing at Salem UPDATE:  Will [Kimmel] is going to be making his first ARCA start at Salem Speedway for RAB Racing. Robbie Benton, owner of RAB Racing, contacted Will earlier last week and a deal has been put together that allows Will to drive the #09 Ford Fusion. (WillKimmel.com) (04-05-10)

  • Brent Brevak racing at Salem: Brent Brevak will make his first start of the 2010 season this weekend at Salem Speedway. "I'm excited to get back in the seat," said Brevak. "I can't think of a better track to start my ARCA rookie season at than Salem Speedway." (ARCARacing.com) (04-08-10)
  • Rick Ware Racing competing at Salem with Timmy Hill: Timmy Hill from Maryland has been one of the most dynamic and dominant drivers for the past two years in the Legends and Allison Legacy Series and is making his move to the big cars. “We have had an eye on Timmy for the past several years and we know he has the talent to succeed at the next level. He has patience, aggression and all around racing experience and knowledge”, stated Rick Ware. Hill will make his debut in the ARCA Remax Series on April 11th at Salem Speedway in Indiana for RWR.   • Russ Dugger returning to DGM Racing at Texas:  Russ Dugger is pleased to announce that he will be driving the Accell Construction Chevrolet Monte Carlo in the Rattlesnake 150 at Texas Motor Speedway.   • Andrew and Kyle Belmont join Hylton Motorsports:  Over the years Hylton Motorsports and Belmont Racing have enjoyed a close working relationship. During the 2010 ARCA Racing Series, this relationship solidifies as brothers Andrew and Kyle Belmont pilot the Hylton Motorsports Ford at all series tracks of one mile or less in distance. Andrew is 17 and has three ARCA Racing Series events to his credit along with starts in both quarter midgets and legends cars.   • Buffalo Wings & Rings back with Sheltra: Officials from Sheltra Motorsports and Buffalo Wings & Rings jointly announced that the Cincinnati, Ohio corporation will return as a marketing partner for four upcoming ARCA Racing Series events beginning with the next ARCA event at Salem.  In addition to Salem Speedway, Buffalo Wings & Rings will hold the same spotlight at Talladega Speedway while serving as a associate marketing partner for Texas Motor Speedway and Toledo Speedway.
