  • Craig Goess competing in NASCAR in 2011: Last night on Fausak Tires Inside Alabama Racing radio program, Craig Goess announced that he will drive a truck full time next season with the Eddie Sharp Racing with help from Toyota. (Inside Alabama PR via (10-22-10)
  • Patrick Sheltra moving to Nationwide?: Patrick Sheltra told Frontstretch that he is currently in talks with RCR to drive for the team in 2011. No word on if Sheltra could possibly be seen in RCR’s No. 21 car in the last few races of this season, though Sheltra Motorsports representatives informed Frontstretch last week that negotiations to put Sheltra in a Nationwide or Cup entry later this season were in progress.   • Tom Hessert part-time in 2011?: Hessert's performance in 2010 already has him looking forward to what's ahead. "I don't have my plans solidified for next season, but I'm ready to race. I'd love to run some NASCAR races, maybe some Truck Series or Nationwide Series events, along with some ARCA races. I want to continue racing with the best and developing as a driver." ( (10-17-10)
  • Tyler Speer to make ARCA debut at Rockingham:  Tyler Speer makes his series debut in the #10 Chattanooga Auto Auction Chevrolet [at Rockingham Speedway]. Speer earned his ARCA license at the at the ARCA Racing Series 3-day open test at Daytona International Speedway Dec. 18-20, 2009. “I really enjoy racing at Rockingham,” Speer said, “especially the big track.  I’m looking forward to running it with 800 horsepower and learning to race with some of the best drivers in the sport.” (Speer Motorsports PR) (10-05-10)
