    UPDATE: Tomorrow will be the dawn of a new era for ARCA, as Menards will officially take its place as the lone presenting sponsor of the ARCA Racing Series.   • Andy Belmont Racing resigns associate sponsor: Andy Belmont Racing will return to the ARCA Racing Series with  Continental Fire & Safety as an associate sponsor of the No. 1 ModSpace/Construct Corps Ford Fusion driven by Chad McCumbee. "To once again team up with Andy Belmont and Andy Belmont Racing for a 13th season is our honor," said Greg Gore, president of Continental Fire & Safety. "They have literally treated us like family since day one. Their dedication and enthusiasm is what our company thrives on. We're wishing the best to Andy (Belmont) and Chad (McCumbee) in 2011.   • Bobby Gerhart Racing re-signs Lucas Oil for 10 races: Bobby Gerhart Racing (BGR) announced today that it has re-signed with Lucas Oil for the 2011 ARCA Racing Series season. The partnership marks the eighth consecutive year that Lucas Oil has supported Gerhart in a title sponsorship role. Currently, the Lucas Oil contract calls for a 10-race package in 2011 to include all the ARCA Racing Series events aired on SPEED. (ARCARacing.com) (12-09-10)
  • Tony Marks Racing to run full season in 2011 with Maryeve Dufault: Tony Marks Racing announced today the intent to run a full season in the ARCA Racing Series with Canadian driver Maryeve Dufault piloting the No. 50 TMR entry. At the helm of the team will be owner Tony Marks, while day to day operations will be overseen by veteran crew chief Larry Moore, who will manage the car preparations out of the teams shop in Toledo, Ohio.   • Alli Owens seeking sponsorship for 2011: The National Labor Management Cooperation Committee (NLMCC) will end its involvement in the sport after four successful seasons [with Alli Owens]. Owens is currently seeking sponsorship for the 2011 season. (Alli Owens PR) (12-08-10)
  • Empire Racing to run full schedule with Sean Corr: Officials from Empire Racing LLC have announced that the team plans to step up their commitment to the ARCA Racing Series. The team will attempt to run a full schedule in 2011 with Sean Corr behind the wheel of the No. 82 Empire Racing LLC Ford Fusion. "We're excited to make this announcement," said Corr. "We've been slowly building our program to make it strong enough to make this decision to give the full season a shot. We're anticipating a great season of racing and I cannot wait to get back in the car in January." Richard Johns, a former ARCA Racing Series and NASCAR driver and shock wizard, will take the reins as crew chief of the No. 82 Empire Racing Ford Fusion. (Empire Racing PR) (12-08-10)
  • Darren Hagen join Venturini Motorsports part time: USAC star Darren Hagen joins forces with Venturini Motorsports for the 2011-2012 ARCA Racing Series seasons. The 2011 season will be a transition year for Darren as he’s currently slated to run in selective 2011 ARCA Racing Series events. Hagen and Venturini Motorsports are working diligently to secure primary sponsorship in order to maximize his exposure during the upcoming season and beyond. Although Darren’s focus is to compete full-time in the ARCA Racing Series, he will continue his USAC efforts until the right opportunity to advance presents itself.   • Ali Jackson joins Venturini Motorsports part time: Veteran Firestone Indy Lights, Asian and British Formula Three driver Alastair (Ali) Jackson, a native of Northern Ireland, has signed with Venturini Motorsports for the 2011 and 2012 ARCA Racing Series seasons. Jackson is the latest top European driver to utilize the ARCA Racing Series in setting his sights on a successful career in NASCAR. Jackson will compete in selective 2011 ARCA Racing Series events under the Venturini banner in preparation for a full season effort in 2012. (Venturini Motorsports PR) (12-07-10)
  • CGH Motorsports and Hackenbracht returning full time in 2011 OFFICIAL: "The outlook for 2011 for both CGH Motorsports and I is to run the full schedule of ARCA Racing Series races. We only ran a limited schedule this past year in 2010 but I feel that it is necessary to partake in the entire series to learn what is needed to move on to the next level of racing.     OFFICIAL: CGH Motorsports announced Saturday that the operation will attempt to run the full ARCA Racing Series schedule in 2011 with rising star Chad Hackenbracht behind the wheel. Rodney Jockisch, a long-time veteran in the motorsports industry will continue to call the shots for CGH Motorsports as crew chief.   • Chad McCumbee and ModSpace returning to ABR in 2011 UPDATE:  Andy Belmont announced on RaceTalkRadio.com that Chad McCumbee and ModSpace will be returning in 2011. Andy Belmont Racing is working on more contracts that will be announced at a later date. (11-19-10)
    UPDATE: ModSpace and Andy Belmont Racing have joined forces once again for 2011, this time partnering with Construct Corps as the co-sponsor of the No. 1 Ford Fusion. Returning to pilot the No. 1 ModSpace/Construct Corps entry will be veteran ARCA driver Chad McCumbee."ModSpace is very excited to partner with Andy Belmont Racing for the 2011 race season," said William Mann, director of ModSpace Motorsports. "Andy Belmont Racing has been a strong partner for our organization and we see a lot of synergy with the team. There is a great deal of promise in a strong team capable of representing our brand in a winning environment."   • Max Gresham joining Venturini part time: Today, [Max] Gresham announced he will pilot a Venturini Motorsports Toyota Camry in five big-track events next season. "The expectations will be to run strong," said Gresham. "I will driving for a team with a history of winning ARCA championships. We'll be looking to finish well, run in the top-five, and be in a position to win at the end of races. It will be up to me as the driver to be as good as the team and the car Venturini Motorsports is going to provide me." Gresham will make his ARCA speedway debut at Chicagoland Speedway on June 4. He'll follow it up a week later when he wheels the Venturini Motorsports Toyota at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway in the ARCA Pocono 200 June 11. Gresham will then head to Brooklyn, Mich. and Michigan International Speedway on June 17, before getting a second swing at the giant 2.5-mile Pocono oval in the ARCA Pennsylvania 125 on August 6. Gresham will close out his five-race ARCA/Venturini Motorsports campaign with his first trip to Kansas Speedway on October 7. (ARCARacing.com) (12-03-10)
  • ARCA announces 2011 schedule: The Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) has released the 2011 schedule for the ARCA Racing Series. Nineteen events will comprise the diverse combination of superspeedways, short tracks, dirt tracks, and road courses in the series' 59th consecutive season of competition. "We're extremely proud of the depth and quality of the venues on the 2011 schedule, each of which is very important to the identity and industry position of the ARCA Racing Series," said ARCA president Ron Drager. "Both the number of scheduled events and the geographic coverage represented by the markets we'll be racing in are good fits for the series." Return visits to O'Reilly Raceway Park (ORP) and Winchester (Ind.) Speedway, the addition of Madison International Speedway will highlight the 2011 calendar. (ARCARacing.com) (12-03-10)
