  • Bear Rzesnowiecky to make ARCA debut with Petty:  Bear Rzesnowiecky will miss the Stockton SRL race, as he will be making his ARCA Series debut at Chicagoland Speedway on June 4th. Rzesnowiecky was awarded the opportunity by winning Richard Petty’s Driver Search held in December at Concord and Charlotte Motor Speedway’s. ( (05-31-11)
  • Littleton Motorsports returning for dirt races:  Littleton Motorsports and driver Mark Littleton will return for the Allen Crowe 100 at Illinois State Fairgrounds on August 21st and the Southern Illinois 100 at DuQuoin State Fairgrounds on September 5th. The team will use points from Bobby Gerhart Racing's No. 5 like they have done in previous years. (05-31-11)
  • Pierre Bourque testing at Michigan with Eddie Sharp Racing: Pierre Bourque will climb behind the wheel of the #6 Revolution Resources - Fight Network - OCR Gaz Bar Toyota fielded by Eddie Sharp Racing for another full ARCA test session, this one at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan. “It’s become such a solid working relationship very quickly” said Bourque.  “I love Eddie Sharp's professionalism, which transcends from crew chief Dave Leiner through to Kyle, Gavin and Kurt.   • Coulter Motorsports testing two cars at Michigan: Coulter Motorsports will be expanding their Driver Development Program with the addition of veteran driver Robb Brent at the open test at Michigan International Speedway. Brent, a 24-year-old Shelby Township, MI native will be piloting the team’s second car, the No. 61 Chevrolet Impala. The No. 16 and 61 have become synonymous with the newly formed Coulter Motorsports Driver Development Program, including the rides in the ARCA Racing Series. Coulter Motorsports still has numerous opportunities available for funded drivers to join their program, including rides in their flagship ARCA program (No. 16 and 61) along with their UARA-Stars late model.   • Jeff Buice joins Cunningham Motorsports for New Jersey: Jeff Buice will join Cunningham Motorsports in the No. 22 Dodge at New Jersey Motorsports Park with sponsorship from Shaver Motorsports. "We are excited to work with Paul Andrews and Cunningham Motorsports at New Jersey this weekend," said Buice.   • Robin Bonanno competing at New Jersey with Fast Track Racing: Robin Bonanno will make her ARCA Racing Series debut at New Jersey driving the No. 10 Fast Track Racing Ford. Bonanno, an eleven year SCCA veteran that currently resides in Alabama, will compete in the full event and is looking for additional sponsorship for more races this season.   • Bob Schacht back for another road course race: Bob Schacht has also filed an entry for the race at NJMP. The 61-year-old driver is the former ARCA road course winner entered at NJMP. In 183 career series starts, he has 19 series wins among 55 top-five finishes and 92 top-10s. In addition to 16 career poles and 1,887 laps-led in 56 races, the veteran driver has fielded top-notch equipment for a variety of drivers over the years. (ARCA Racing PR) (05-20-11)
  • Pierre Bourque testing for ESR; to run more races?: Pierre Bourque is keeping himself busy even before his 2011 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series begins.  This coming week Bourque will once again be in the driver’s seat of the #6 Revolution Resources – Fight Network – OCR Gas Bar Toyota fielded by Eddie Sharp Racing for a full ARCA test session at the ultra-fast Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois on Tuesday, May 17th.   • Andrew Ranger and NDS Motorsports running New Jersey: Andrew Ranger will return behind the wheel of the No. 35 Waste Management Recycling NDS Motorsports race car on May 22, when the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards visits New Jersey Motorsports Park for the Garden State 150.   • Willie Mullins competing at New Jersey:  Mullins Racing in association with Bobby Gerhart racing is proud to announce they will be headed to the New Jersey 150, May 22 with the #5 car. After a year away from the track, the team is looking forward to returning to the New Jersey Motorsports Park.   • Matt Crafton enters Toledo with Kimmel Racing: NASCAR driver Matt Crafton will compete in the Menards 200 at Toledo Speedway on Sunday, May 15. Crafton will drive the No. 88 Messina Wildlife Management/Menards Ford Fusion, out of the Kimmel Racing stable of ARCA cars. The opportunity to run in the ARCA Racing Series is a result of the overall Menards Racing program in ARCA, and the business relationship between Messina Wildlife Management and Menards.   • Darrell Basham Racing might skip New Jersey:  Darrell Basham stated on the April 26th show of Thunder Crew on that his team may skip the New Jersey race on May 22nd. Basham is on a race-to-race schedule and he cited an $800 purse for starting the race as one of the reasons for possibly skipping the event. (05-03-11)
  • Tony Marks Racing fined for Talladega infractions: Based on pre-qualifying technical inspection, CGH Motorsports No. 58 competition director Kevin Reed has been fined $500 for violating ARCA Rulebook Page 24, Item 6, which references unsecured and/or improperly identified ballast weight.   • Coulter Motorsports crew member fined at Talladega: Coulter Motorsports No. 16 crew member Brian Murphy has been fined $250 for violating ARCA Rulebook Page 6, Section 3, Item 10, which references conduct detrimental to the sport. ( (05-03-11)
  • Cowen Racing begins four race schedule at Toledo: Cowen Racing and driver Tim Cowen will begin their four race 2011 ARCA Racing Series schedule at Toledo Speedway on May 15th.  The No. 85 Cowen Logistics Ford will compete at New Jersey Motorsports Park, Lucas Oil Speedway, and the final race at Toledo afterward.   • Hixson Motorsports using at least five drivers: Hixson Motorsports will use at least five drivers for its two car, full season ARCA effort in 2011. Ron Cox, Nick Igdalsky, Rob Jones, Levi Youster, and Frank Wilson Jr. will all compete part time this season with the possibility of some other drivers added to the driver lineup.
