  • Brian Keselowski racing at Salem and Talladega in own car: Brian Keselowski will drive his own No. 29 Brian Keselowski Motorsports Chevrolet at Salem and Talladega. He drove for Sinica Motorsports at Mobile, renting out his number to Bubba Pollard. Keselowski fielded an entry for Sloan Henderson at Daytona. Sponsorship announcement(s) are expected soon.     UPDATE: The sponsorship that Brian Keselowski thought that he secured has fallen through. Keselowski did not race at Salem this past week and will not be at Talladega on Friday. The team is working to find sponsorship or funded drivers for the remainder of the season. (04-30-12)
  • Terry Jones to drive the No. 12 at Talladega? UPDATE NO:ARCA veteran Terry Jones is rumored to be using owner points from the No. 12 Tony Marks Racing entry at Talladega. Jared Marks, who is the primary driver of the No. 12, cannot compete at Talladega due to minimum age restrictions. Jones competed at Daytona in February starting and finishing in 25th. Jones Group is expected to sponsor the entry. (04-19-12)
    UPDATE: Terry Jones has filed his Talladega entry using his own No. 30. Marks will pass inspection using the No. 12, but is unable to race due to minimum age restrictions. (04-30-12)
  • Spraker Racing Enterprises signs Clay Campbell for Talladega: Spraker Racing Enterprises will field an entry for Clay Campbell at Talladega Superspeedway on Friday. Campbell, the president of Martinsville Speedway, drove for the team in the NASCAR K&N East Pro Series last year and will compete in the series again this year in select events. The 52 year-old rookie will attempt to make his ARCA Racing Series debut driving the No. 08 Ford with sponsorship from Mountain Dew. (04-30-12)
  • Thomas Praytor, Belmont return at Talladega with new sponsor: Realtors will be the primary sponsor for Thomas "Moose" Praytor's entry in the International Motorsports Hall of Fame 250 at Talladega Superspeedway on Friday. The iconic Realtor R will adorn the hood and quarter panels of Praytor's No. 2 Andy Belmont Racing Ford Fusion. (Andy Belmont Racing PR) (04-30-12)

  • Venturini Motorsports switching to Ford later this season?: Venturini Motorsports is rumored to be switching to Ford later this season in an effort to keep Ryan Reed in the team's driver lineup. Reed has a deal with Ford and has been seen with Venturini Motorsports Ford show cars recently. It is unclear if the entire Venturini fleet will make the switch or if it will be just Reed, as the team currently runs Chevrolet and Toyota cars at various tracks with different drivers. (04-25-12)
  • Chase Elliott to attempt Salem: Chase Elliott has added another short track race to his five race ARCA Racing Series schedule as he will compete at Salem Speedway on April 29th. Elliott's No. 9 Aaron's Dream Machine/ Chevrolet (owned by his father, Bill) is one of 18 early entries for the third race of the season. ( (04-04-12)
