A year that started with a DNF at Daytona quickly gained momentum as Thomas “Moose” Praytor and his DK-LOK Team became the model of consistency earning the 7th spot in the ARCA Championship standings. “It’s really been a magical couple of years for our race team. Two races became four that turned into 21 and then 2 full seasons,” offered Praytor. “None of this would have been possible without Wayne and Pam Hixson giving me an opportunity. Our sponsor, DK-LOK make it possible for us to go to the track every week but DK-LOK has become much more than a sponsor, they have welcomed me into their family. Bob Slaughter, Wade Davis, Scott & Jerri Lynn Shuttlesworth all the folks that work at DK-LOK thank you for letting me become part of your team. Our all volunteer crew, Doug, Adam, Anthony, Kyle, Jarrett, Angelo and Crystal thank you for your hard work and dedication to our team. Our associate sponsors, Alabama Painters Supply, John Thompson and Associates, Dueitts Battery, Airgas and Terry Dees for keeping my Dad in line. I couldn’t chase this racing dream without the support of my family, my Mom, Dad and my sister Hayley.”
“Congratulations to Grant Enfinger on winning this year’s HG Adcox Sportsmanship Award. It was one of the biggest honors of my life and it’s really cool that the last 2 years it has gone to drivers from Mobile International Speedway.”
Sunday is a travel day as Praytor heads to Nashville for the American Country Countdown Awards with So Good Entertainment.
