The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards announced to drivers and team owners that the Series TV Ratings on Fox Sports Channels were 31% higher in 2016 as compared to the same broadcast in 2015. An impressive increase in an ever shrinking sports TV market.
Series President, Ron Drager attributed the increase in ratings to the teams active social media campaigns.
“We are extremely proud to be part of the ARCA success story in 2016. Before the season started Venturini Motorsports, Cunningham Motorsports and our Praytor Management Group (PMG) all teamed together in a concerted effort to improve the Series social media profile and it has paid off,” said PMGs Tommy Praytor.
The trio of Venturini, Cunningham and Praytor represent 7 out of the top 10 teams in the series including a double handful of drivers outside the top 10.
How powerful has social media become? In 2016 PMG has reached over 6 million people for Josh Williams, Thomas Praytor and its other clients. Add Venturini & Cunningham and the number gets closer to 20 million.
“Our team, Whitney Paterson and Hayley Praytor, have done a tremendous job on not just our clients but helping other teams get their social media campaigns going. We found folks are starving for information on the ARCA Series and social media is the perfect vehicle. I think all of us have been blown away by the fan reaction and it’s really cool to see these drivers and teams get the attention they deserve.”
The ARCA Series presented by Menards will be back in action this weekend at one of the countries most storied racetracks, Winchester Speedway.
