Braden Ready to Launch at the Allen Crowe 100 on Sunday

Travis Braden

Standing Fifth in Overall Driver’s Points

Springfield, IL – RFMS Racing driver Travis Braden takes to the track in the Allen Crowe 100 this Sunday at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Illinois. The race will be televised LIVE on MavTV beginning at 1:30 p.m. CDT. Braden continues to move forward after his eighth Top 10 finish at his last race at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania.

“We have made the most of our couple off weeks. It was a very long string of 11 consecutive race weekends, so the extra time has really given us time to re-energize and catch a second wind as we head into the last 5 races of 2018. We’ve got a good game plan for this race at the Illinois State Fair. RFMS racing, our sponsors, and the team are excited to display our hard work and energy. This is a great chance for us to try to “steal” a win,” Braden said. “Despite the rain-shortened race at Pocono Raceway, we still made the best of the short time we had to get into the top 10 and finish 9th, maintaining 5th in driver’s points.”

Though this will be his first full season in ARCA, Braden is no stranger to the racing world. Braden’s passion for the sport of racing runs as deep as the valleys of the Appalachian Mountains. At tracks in Columbus and Xenia, Ohio, Travis secured more than 100 victories before he was 13, and at age 17 he notched 10 victories and was crowned the Columbus track champion, the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series State Champion and the NWASS National Rookie of the Year – all before graduating from high school.

Braden is a two-time ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion, and is continuing to be committed to the ARCA Racing Series for the remainder of 2018, where he’ll work hard to emerge as a driving force in the ARCA Racing Series and beyond.
