Thoughts on this weekend’s race at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville?
“I’m really hoping our luck can turn around this weekend in Nashville and get our first top five of the season. I think we can do that. We’re going to go there and give it our all, just like every other race. We have some ground to make up after last week’s race at Talladega (Superspeedway). I was expecting us to take the lead in points or at least gain some points on the leader, but we lost ground. We just have to work a little harder.”

What makes Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville different than other short tracks?
“I’ve race at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville in late models and had some success there. It helps having the extra seat time at a track. It’s similar to Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola for me. I feel like I have something to prove here since we didn’t do as well in the other short track races so far this season. You can’t forget about the city of Nashville. That in itself makes it different than other tracks we go to. I’d like to stay an extra day just to enjoy the city. It’ll be nice to do that with a good finish.”
