BRET HOLMES QUOTE:
Elko Speedway is a different track. What are your thoughts about heading there this weekend?
“Elko Speedway is really wild in my opinion. It’s such a tight racetrack. We don’t really race at any other tracks that are that tight. It’s a 250-lap race because the track is so small. I think a lot of teams when we first went there back in 2017 were trying too hard. They were overdriving the car. Elko is one of those places where under driving the car is faster. Your lap times are so fast because it’s a small track. You can easily overdrive the entry and mess up your corner exit. It’s definitely a fun place to race. Everyone wants to be on the bottom, and you get rooted out of the way for that track position.”
