BRET HOLMES QUOTES:
You and the No. 23 team tested at Toledo Speedway earlier this season. Did you learn anything at the test that will help going into this weekend?
“We went into that test with a solid base line and only made a couple of small changes. I feel like we’ll be really strong for the race on Sunday. That test was probably the best test we’ve had. We were right in line with where we wanted to be time wise.”
Explain Toledo Speedway. Is it a fairly easy track to get around, or is it deceiving from the outside?
“Yeah, it is different for sure. I think the corners, and especially the entry into the corners are a little deceiving. It’s a little bit tighter on entry to the corner and then straightens out on exit. You have to play with that to get a good lap. I picked up some of it during the test and will be able to use it this weekend. I’d say the corners are the biggest difference than any other track we go to. I like it though, it’s fun.”
