After completing the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Music City 200 at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville with a top-fifteen finish, Clayton Weatherman is nothing but grateful that he had the opportunity to run with Lira Motorsports.
Finishing 14th, Weatherman was very happy with how the weekend went. He felt that he had a very competitive car, but failed to get the best setup.
The team missed first practice due to the car going through technical inspection, so he feels that the car could have been better if he had the proper amount of practice time.
“All in all, we had a good day. We drove a great race, but missed the setup a little bit,” Clayton said.
In Weatherman’s very short ARCA Racing Series career, Nashville adds to his list of top-15 finishes. This makes him a top-fifteen finisher in every start he has made in the series.
“What Teddy [crew chief] and Carlos [Lira] have done for me means everything to me. For Carlos to believe in me like he does means a lot. I can’t thank all of the Lira Motorsports guys enough for what they do day in and day out.”
He hopes to be able to make more starts with the Lira Motorsports team throughout the remainder of the season.
Clayton and Lira Motorsports would like to thank MOMO Motorsport, Safecraft, and NexGenFuel for riding along with the No. 93 Ford Fusion in Nashville.
