Dalton Sargeant Resumes ARCA Schedule at Winchester

CONCORD, NORTH CAROLINA (June 22, 2016) – Dalton Sargeant will resume his ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards schedule at the “World’s Fastest Half-Mile” this weekend in the 27th running of the Herr’s Potato Chip 200 at Winchester Speedway.

Competing in an abbreviates 15-race schedule with VMS, Sargeant has been impressive early on notching four top-5 and six top-10 finishes during his first six ARCA Series career events.

“I’m excited to get back in the seat at Winchester,” says Sargeant. “Our Venturini Motorsports Toyota powered by Windows 10 Camry has been strong all season long. The speed we’ll carry on Winchester’s high banks should make for an exciting show come Sunday. The track really fits my driving style.”

Despite only running a partial schedule, Sargeant occupies the ninth position in ARCA’s overall championship point standings and is second to Chase Briscoe for top spot in the rookie of the year battle.

Sargeant will compete in the next five ARCA Series events at Winchester, Iowa, Lucas Oil, Pocono and Berlin before his next break in series action. Foregoing the two dirt races at Springfield and DuQuoin, Sargeant will end the season at Salem, Chicagoland, Kentucky and Kansas Speedways.

Winchester Weekend Schedule
The ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards returns to the high banks of Winchester Speedway for Sunday’s running of the Herr’s Potato Chip 200. The two day event will feature two practice sessions Saturday afternoon (12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m. & 2:20 p.m. – 3:05 p.m.) along with Menards Pole Qualifying at 6:00 p.m. The green flag will wave at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 26.
