The little team that will is still making moves in the 2016 ARCA season. The JWM team started as the underdogs but with two ARCA wins under their belt they are proving they are the team on the rise. Saturday July 9th the JWM team took on the ABC Supply Co. 150 in Iowa as they chased for another checkered flag within the series. Since the ABC Supply Co. 150 was only a one day show the team showed up ready to battle in the 28 car field. The JWM team started the day off on a high note running a 24.77 lap time during qualifying putting Josh Williams the Driver of the #6 Florida SW Florida Cable Construction/Circle Track Warehouse Chevrolet in the top 10 rolling out in the 9th position for the Saturday night event in Iowa.

With the start of the race Williams was eagerly awaiting the drop of the green flag for his chance to move forward in the field. The #6 ran smooth through the start of the race Williams was able to hold onto the 10th position while defending off Mytt Snider with Cunningham. The JWM crew chief DJ Johnson and spotter Kevin Williams (Father to Josh Williams) where calling the shots while Williams wheeled the car to pace of the track not losing any placement on the track.

The ABC Supply 150 Co. ran 86 laps under green before the first caution came out for which was for the leader Kyle Weatherman who cut a right front. While running in the 11th position Williams and JWM team took this caution to come in to the pits and get 4 new tires and fuel putting Williams in a 8th restart position at the drop of the green.  After the second caution came out, the JWM team was unable to regain its momentum and finish the ABC Supply Co. 150 with a 10th place finish. This top 10 finish helped Williams keep his lead in the short track challenge within the ARCA Series for this season.

“As a team we battled, Iowa has never showed us much love, but we had our best finish here yet tonight. My crew and I are looking forward to getting back to the shop so we can run the best we can at Lucas Oil in two weeks.”- Driver Josh Williams #6

Finishing the ABC Supply Co. 150 at Iowa Speedway with P10, Williams and the JWM are looking forward to running Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 which will be at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indiana.  The Sioux Chief PowerPex will be Friday July 22, 2016 with green flag at 9:00 PM EDT;also the PowerPEX200 will be aired live with coverage on Fox Sports 1 and Live Timing and Scoring available at www.arcaracing.com.
