Concord, NC (June 23, 2015) – Current Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) driver in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) Justin Boston will reunite with Venturini Motorsports (VMS) for this weekend’s ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Herr’s Chase the Taste 200 at Winchester Speedway.
“It feels like I’m coming home,” said Justin Boston on his return to the ARCA series. “This is really exciting. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone and getting back together with my old team. We’ve had a lot of success the last two years and I’m confident we’ll pick up where we left off.”
Boston, a two-time ARCA winner and former Rookie of the Year, drove for VMS during the 2013 and 2014 seasons. He will mark his return driving the No.55 Hydraulics Cylinders Inc. Toyota Camry.
“It’s a great opportunity. Billy (Venturini) and I have talked a lot about coming back and working together but Winchester wasn’t one of the tracks on our radar until earlier this week. The deal came together fast. There’s no way I could’ve done it without the support of Hydraulic Cylinders. I’m really thankful for their support and will do everything I can to get them and Venturini Motorsports a trophy.”
After racing Iowa last weekend, a break in the NCWTS schedule will allow Boston to compete at Winchester this weekend. Boston who races the No.54 Truck for KBM is currently 12th in the NCWTS point standings.
“The timing of this couldn’t have been any better with the weekend off in the truck series. Anytime you race there’s an opportunity to improve your trade. I’m fairly new to the truck series and still have a lot to learn, just like I did when I started racing ARCA a few years back. I’m having a lot of fun and not taking anything for granted,” added Boston.
Boston, with 41 career ARCA starts, earned the series’ Rookie of the Year Award in 2013. Over the course of his ARCA career he’s notched two wins, five pole awards, 15 top-5 and 29 top-10 finishes. Boston has two previous starts at Winchester Speedway, earning a best third place finish in 2014.
The Herr’s Chase the Taste 200 at Winchester Speedway is live on CBS Sports Network at 2:00 p.m. ET., Sunday, June 28th. ARCAracing.com will also feature live timing and scoring of all ARCA on-track activities Saturday and Sunday.
