“I’m excited to be back in the race car and make my first start at Pocono,” said Davis. “There’s a lot to look forward to the next couple of weeks – our 15-team showed a lot of speed the last time out and I expect we’ll see more of the same this weekend.”

Davis, an 18 year-old from Dawsonville, GA, is one of the newest members of VMS’ strong stable of young Toyota drivers.

“We’re off to a strong start – the guys in the shop have worked long hours getting my car ready for this week. I’m looking forward to taking it out early and running laps some laps during the test.”

“Pocono is like no other track in the world. It’s unique. It will definitely be a learning curve for me at first but like everything else, I’ll adapt. I’ve got great team backing with tons of experience and success at Pocono. Preparing I’ve run some laps on the simulator. But still nothing will compare to seeing it first-hand. Heck, before Talladega the biggest track I ran was one-mile – In my first two ARCA races I’ve seen Talladega and now getting ready for Pocono – it’s a racers dream to compete at these tracks,” added Davis.

On Wednesday, Davis will take to the track participation in ARCA’s open test session at Pocono Raceway in preparation for his first-ever visit to the 2.5 mile track known as the ‘Tricky Triangle’.

Pocono marks the second of seven scheduled ARCA Series races with VMS this season for Davis.

The highly touted development driver will also compete Father’s Day Weekend at Michigan Int’l Speedway in addition to future races at Iowa Speedway (July 8), Lucas Oil Raceway (July 21), Kentucky Speedway (September 22) and in the series’ finale at Kansas Speedway (October 20) .
