Braden is looking to leave an impression during last race of April

TALLADEGA – Travis Braden, driver for RFMS Racing, is looking forward to the General Tire 200 at the Talladega Superspeedway this Friday. Braden has shown promise early on this season, but has had mixed results. He looks to turn things around with a solid finish to finish out the month of April.

“Sunday at Salem was rough. We had a pretty strong car, and a made one big mistake and got involved in a spin. It forced us to put on our last set of new tires early in the race, and then I just had to hang on and struggle to the finish. We struggled as a team in Nashville, but this one was more on me, so now I’m focused on putting together a full race for my team finally,” said Braden, who is competing in his first full-time ARCA season. “I am looking forward to taking on Talladega Superspeedway, and RFMF Racing and I are working out strategies as we speak to hopefully put us in good position to avoid the wrecks and be there for a strong finish at the end.”

At tracks in Columbus and Xenia, Ohio, Travis secured more than 100 victories before he was 13, and at age 17 he notched 10 victories and was crowned the Columbus track champion, the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series State Champion and the NWASS National Rookie of the Year – all before graduating from high school.

Braden is a two-time ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion, and is now looking forward to 2018, where he’ll work hard to emerge as a driving force in the ARCA Racing Series and beyond.
